Statement of Faith

We believe

In One God, existing in unity as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:26, Isaiah 6:8

We believe

In God the Creator, Father, and Sustainer of life.

Romans 1:20, Romans 8:15, Colossians 1:17

We believe

In Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived among us. He willingly died on a cross for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. He will come to earth again as He promised.

Luke 2:30-35, John 1:14, 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4; Hebrews 12:2, Acts 1:11

We believe

In the Holy Spirit, who guides, empowers, and lives in believers.

John 14:26; Acts 1:8, Romans 8:11

We believe

In the Bible as the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts. It was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and it has supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and life.

John 1:1, 14; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Mark 13:31; John 8:31-32; John 20:31; Proverbs 30:5-7

We believe

In salvation as a free gift of God’s grace. All human beings are created in God’s image, but all have sinned. Jesus paid the penalty of sin, which is death. This salvation is received by turning from sin and putting personal trust in Jesus Christ as Lord of one’s life.

Ephesians 2:8, Mark 1:15, Romans 10: 9-10, Romans 3:23-24

Because of our beliefs

We value gathering together as a community of believers to worship God locally and around the world. We grow in relationships with Him and with one another, and serve others as the result of faith working through love.

Hebrews 10: 22-25; Matthew 28:18-20
