We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Associate Pastor to lead our youth ministry. This person will guide the spiritual growth and development of our youth by creating programs and events and building meaningful relationships. The Associate Pastor acts as a missionary to our local schools. This person will oversee and develop youth programming and outreach activities for students in sixth through twelfth grades. The ideal candidate is a Christ-centered, relational leader with a heart for discipling youth and fostering a vibrant, welcoming ministry. This individual must connect well with young people and work collaboratively with parents, leaders, staff, and volunteers.
This is a salaried, full-time position (anticipated 40-45 hours per week). It requires a flexible schedule and significant focus outside a standard workday. The Associate Pastor works under the direction of the Senior Pastor and the Staff/Pastor-Parish Relations Committee.

As the Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry, you will have the exciting opportunity to create a new youth ministry for students in grades 6-12. This role requires someone who is passionate about outreach, has a creative approach to developing youth programs, and can create a safe, engaging environment where youth can grow spiritually and personally. Strong, driven leadership, and relational skills are key to this position.
- Youth Ministry Leadership:
- Lead the ministry to reach local youth.
- Develop creative, engaging teaching strategies addressing the spiritual and emotional needs of youth.
- Build a ministry environment that fosters spiritual growth, discipleship, and fellowship.
- Relationship Building and Mentoring:
- Develop strong, meaningful relationships with youth, offering mentorship and guidance, with a goal of leading them to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
- Be actively involved in school and community activities to connect with youth.
- Provide a safe environment where youth feel valued and can share personal challenges.
- Model godly character and spiritual maturity.
- Parental Involvement and Support:
- Collaborate with parents to support their children’s spiritual development.
- Keep families informed about youth activities, events, and prayer needs through meetings, newsletters, emails, or texts.
- Encourage parental participation in the youth ministry.
- Program and Event Planning:
- Plan, organize, and execute weekly youth meetings, Bible studies, and events.
- Organize youth trips, mission projects, and service opportunities.
- Ensure safe and meaningful experiences during youth trips and events.
- Foster an exciting environment which encourages youth involvement and outreach.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Recruit, train, and support youth ministry volunteers, equipping them to effectively engage and mentor young people.
- Be teachable and willing to submit to the guidance and authority of the senior pastor.
- Align youth ministry with the church’s vision and collaborate with other ministry leaders.
- Spiritual and Personal Development:
- Lead youth in personal discipleship, prayer, and Bible study.
- Set an example with disciplined spiritual habits and a commitment to Biblical principles.
- Facilitate growth in youth through spiritual formation and educational opportunities.
- Communication and Administration:
- Communicate regularly with youth and families via newsletters and social media etc.
- Maintain accurate records of youth participation and events.
- Manage the ministry’s budget and resources effectively.
- Stay organized while managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.

- Education: Degree in theology, ministry, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Building Administrator

The Building Administrator is an hourly, part-time position (anticipated 10-15 hours per week, varying weekly) requiring a flexible schedule. This role is responsible for managing daily building -and grounds-related operations in coordination with the Church Pastor, staff, committees, volunteers, members, and the community. The ability to build strong relationships and work seamlessly with others is essential to the success of this position. The position is accountable to the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee.

- Building Administrator:
- Oversee day-to-day building and grounds operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate routine, preventative, and as-needed maintenance and repairs.
- Supervise custodial staff, maintenance workers, and facility-related volunteers.
- Monitor compliance with safety requirements, building codes, and organizational policies.
- Maintain building security procedures, evacuation plans, and emergency action protocols.
- Maintain documentation of facility processes and procedures.
- Respond to urgent facility, safety, or maintenance issues as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, inspectors, and service providers.
- Manage the custodial staff budget and monitor facility-related expenses.
- Maintain essential facility records, schedules, and documentation.
- Identify and purchase equipment and supply needs.
- Perform light maintenance and minor cleaning tasks when necessary to support facility operations.
- Attend staff and job-related committee meetings as required.
- Knowledge or experience in administration, facilities coordination, or project management.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check with no disqualifying criminal record.

Event coordinator

The On-Call Event Coordinator provides event -specific support for weddings, funerals, memorial services, and occasional church or facility-use events. The coordinator ensures basic logistics and facility needs are addressed so events are conducted smoothly, respectfully, and with aligned values of the church. ours are event -based and not guaranteed. Scheduling is dependent on weddings, funerals, and other approved events. The position is accountable to the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee.

- Event Coordinator
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for assigned weddings, funerals, memorial services, and approved events.
- Coordinate event logistics in accordance with established church policies and procedures.
- Communicate event details and schedules with clergy, staff, custodial personnel, and volunteers as needed.
- Assist families, couples, and event representatives with facility-related questions and timelines.
- Coordinate room setup and teardown needs with custodial staff or volunteers.
- Ensure access to approved spaces, equipment, and basic audio/visual needs as scheduled.
- MOnitor and address any issues during events.
- Ensure events are conducted in a respectful, safe, and ministry-centered manner.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interact compassionately and professionally with individuals, and families.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work independently during events.
- Attention to detail and ability to remain calm in time-sensitive situations.

- Experience in event support, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
